The famous singer and songwriter of the Beatles brand John Lennon’s son, Sean Ono Lennon, says that Bitcoin gives him optimism in an ocean of destruction. He believes that the world’s oldest cryptocurrency empowers people in a way that they have never been empowered before.
While discussing multiple aspects of the coin, along with various significant events that happened in 2020, the son of the Beatles’ lead vocalist opined that Bitcoin is a source of optimism in such a pandemic situation while so many things have been overturned upside down.
Sean Ono Lennon is also a British-American musician and songwriter like his father. Throughout his career, he also performed as a producer and multi-instrumentalist. Lennon has also been famous as a member of the leading music bands such as Cibo Matto, the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, and his parents’ group, the Plastic Ono Band.
Lennon discussed Bitcoin’s revolutionary currency with the American broadcasters Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert on a podcast published Sunday.
On that Orange Pill podcast, Lennon said that talking about Bitcoin is probably the only thing in 2020 that has given him more optimism and happiness about the near future and humanity in general.
Lennon further compared Bitcoin with gold and presented quite a few reasons why cryptocurrency is better than gold. Recently, many other investors and famed hedge fund managers such as Paul Tudor Jones, Bill Miller, and Stan Druckenmiller have expressed the same opinion about Bitcoin.
The instrumentalist described Keiser and Herbert that people who hold gold would have to carry that in a bag, and there is a possibility that someone could steal it from them. While conversely, Bitcoin does not possess any such risks.
