Optimized User Experience with Etherlink Post-Upgrade
Following the Paris upgrade, Etherlink emerges as a more cost-effective option compared to Arbitrum and Optimism. Arthur Breitman, Tezos co-founder, highlights the enhanced user experience (UX) on Etherlink, with comparable L2 time to finality to its counterparts, but with even better L1 publication latency.
The introduction of Tezos’ Data Availability Layer (DAL) in the Paris upgrade aims to democratize network participation by reducing hardware and bandwidth requirements. This feature enables Tezos’ Smart Rollups to scale, potentially reaching millions of TPS in the future.
