Sequence, a Horizon Blockchain Games platform, has joined forces with Google Cloud to integrate its full-stack web3 gaming development suite with Google’s cloud computing platform. The collaboration aims to simplify the process for web3 developers to access and utilize web3 building tools through Google Cloud’s industry-standard infrastructure.
Horizon Blockchain Games, launched in 2019, secured a $2.75 million seed round and subsequently raised $53.3 million over four rounds by 2022, with its NFT/trading card game “Skyweaver” gaining traction.
Sequence offers a comprehensive web3 developer platform, covering wallets, marketplaces, smart contracts, analytics, and more, along with plugins for Unity, Unreal, web, and mobile.
The partnership with Google Cloud will entail full stack integration of the Sequence development platform.
Jack Buser, Director for Games, Strategic Industries at Google Cloud, expressed excitement about simplifying game creation for developers through Sequence, emphasizing the platform’s ability to streamline web3 technology complexities.
